Rotary Club of Bombay West has taken up the
challenge of combating this killer disease through a network of individual Rotarians, other social service organisations and General Medical Practitioners.

Tuberculosis

Free treatment-to-cure programme for TB affected poor, normally spread over 9 months, was started in 1995.
Since then 650 patients have been cured.
200 Patients registered at a time.
Panel of doctors include Pathologists, Physicians and Radiologists who are all members of the Club.
Treatment includes:

  * Checkups every month

  * Diagnostic tests every quarter

  * Medicines and nutrients as needed

  * One to one Counseling
